Ask the whole register anything, wherever your team works

Dantive covers every active pesticide registration in the US, from crop protection to disinfectants, updated daily. Use it inside the AI assistant your company already has, or in the Dantive web app.

In your AI assistant

Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude. Your IT team connects Dantive once, and everyone can ask any question about the register in the assistant they already use every day: market counts, head-to-head comparisons, distributor analyses, ownership changes, label content.

In the Dantive web app

The same plain-English questions, plus the Data Browser to explore the market without writing a question, and drill-down into any company or product with its full registration details.

Ask in plain English

Type the question the way you would ask a colleague. Dantive finds the registrations, counts, ranks and explains, and every answer points back to the EPA records behind it. Follow-up questions keep the context, so you can drill into a company, switch to an ingredient or compare two answers without starting over.

Counts and lists come from the records themselves. The AI's job is to understand your question and explain the result. When it adds general background, it says so.

A few questions people ask

  • How many active products does [company] have, and in which segments?
  • List the restricted-use products that contain [ingredient].
  • What signal word do most of [company]'s products carry?
  • Which registrations changed owner last month?

Distributor questions currently work best from Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude.

Browse the whole market

In the Dantive web app, the Data Browser lets you explore the register without writing a question: pick a lens, filter, drill down to the products and companies behind every number.

Market segments
From agriculture and turf to public health, industrial and institutional uses.
Target pests
Which pests attract the most products and where competitor coverage thins out.
Product types
Herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, antimicrobials, disinfectants and more.
Use sites
Individual crops, structures and sites, where small gaps become visible.
Active ingredients
Search by chemical name, trade name, CAS number or abbreviation.
Formulations
Which physical forms dominate each segment.

Compare registrants and their distributors

Put two or three companies side by side: portfolios, shared active ingredients, shared distributors and who is gaining where. Then turn the comparison into work.

How the distributor switch analysis works

Switch watch list
Shared distributors where a competitor is adding products and you are not, with dates.
Product equivalents
Your closest match for each competitor product, as a starting point for your team to confirm against the labels.
Label-change windows
Which distributors must update their labels after a master label changes, and when.
Portfolio gaps
What a competitor sells where you have nothing comparable.

Everything else you can ask about

The same register, read in more depth. Ask about any of it in plain English.

Label content
PPE, application rates, re-entry intervals, first aid, storage and disposal, restrictions: answered from the label itself, including older scanned labels.
Label history
More than 170,000 earlier label versions on record, so you can see when use sites, signal words or restrictions changed.
Any ingredient name
Search by common name, trade name, CAS number or abbreviation. More than 24,000 alternative names lead to the right active ingredient.
Distributor labels traced
About 38,000 active distributor labels from about 910 distributors, each linked back to the product it is based on, so a private label does not hide who makes the product.
Ownership history
Every change of owner on record since the 1960s, including nearly 500 in the past year, so you know who really holds a portfolio today.
Restricted use and signal words
Screen active products by signal word and restricted-use status, including the roughly 1,000 restricted-use products that only certified applicators may use.
Biological products
Biologicals are classified separately, so you can see how far each segment has moved toward them and who leads.
Gaps in the market
Pests, use sites and segments where few products compete, as input for the next registration.
Regulatory risk signals
Active ingredients under re-evaluation or with rising cancellations, and the portfolios that depend on them. A screening signal, not a regulatory determination.

Let it watch the market

Set up watch lists for the companies, ingredients and segments you care about. Dantive checks the register every day and sends you what changed, daily or weekly, as you prefer.

  • New registrations by companies you follow
  • Registrations changing owner
  • Distributors adding product lines
  • Waves of new registrants on an active ingredient

Connect it to your own AI assistant

Many teams already work in an AI assistant. Dantive works as a connector for Microsoft Copilot (through Copilot Studio), ChatGPT and Claude, so people can ask about the EPA register in the same place they write, plan and analyse, and combine the answers with the rest of their work.

It uses the open standard these assistants use to add business tools (MCP), so your IT team adds it once, like any other connector. Each user then connects with personal access. The connection is read-only, limited to regulatory data, and every query is logged. Details for IT are on the security page.
